These are photos that we were given permission to take of the Thanksgiving Day Lunch and program we provided for (90) men at Martin Correctional Institute. Special thanks to our Volunteers that were a HUGE help to us that day: Lens Farreau, Santino Lombardo and Samady Rivera. Thanks to the chapel orderlies that assisted us as well.
Our Ministry tries to do something for the Men there on every holiday throughout the year, so that they don’t feel forgotten or alone because they cannot share those holidays with their family and loved ones. Its truly amazing how a simple gesture of kindness can mean so much to these men. Your Contributions and Donations help make these programs possible. Thank you again for your faithful giving!
Community Events
Arise Evangelistic Association, Inc. is actively seeking ways that we can assist and be a catalyst for Re-entry for the Men that have been assisting our programs at Martin Correctional Institute. Often times Prisoners re-offend because when they get out of prison, they have no where to go due to their long period of incarceration and the fact they have burned so many bridges with friends and family. We are trying to connect with local Transitional Housing Organizations in order to be a liaison between these men and these Organizations to make sure they have a place to live. Our goal is to avoid having them end up on the streets again and re-offending just to have a roof over their heads and three square meals.
Will you help us break this cycle and truly be the Hands and Feet of Christ? We are reaching out to the Community for any help and assistance you can provide. This is a burden we have as a Ministry, and we are asking for the Body of Christ to provide any insight or guidance on how we can ensure these men continue their Faith Walk in a safe environment and so that we can also provide assistance in finding them employment when needed.
